Midwest City, OK, February 03, 2021 – The Junior Service League of Midwest City has a long history of providing support to Eastern Oklahoma County, both financially and with service hours volunteered by its members. JSL uses the funds raised from the Ways & Means Gala to provide grants to local non-profit organizations in eastern Oklahoma County in need of help during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This is the first time JSL has done Fall grants but felt called to help our community organizations hurting from COVID.

“The Junior Service League Of Midwest City saw a current need in the community due to COVID. Because of this urgent need, we acted quickly and decided to grant funds from our 2020 Ways and Means fundraiser this fall. Our goal was to help our community now! We are honored to be able to award COVID grants this fall as well as our anticipated spring grants. I am so proud of what our organization has been able to do to help our community during such a difficult time” said Lindsay Davis, JSL President.

The women of Junior Service League would like to note that these grants would not be possible without the support of our amazing community.

Also, please note Junior Service League is now accepting applications for 2021 grants this spring.

Each year, the Junior Service League accepts applications for membership. If you have a heart for service and are interested in joining a group of outstanding women that work to make our community a better place, please consider applying for JSL. Applications can be found on our website (jslmwc.org) and are due in Summer of 2021.
